South Korea’s U18 Women’s National Basketball Team recorded its first win of the Asia Cup.
The Korea U18 Women’s National Basketball Team, led by head coach Kang Byung-soo, defeated Chinese Taipei 75-63 on Thursday (Feb. 24) at the Longhe Culture & Sports Center in Shenzhen, China, 안전 토토사이트 in the first game of Group A of the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup 2024.
Korea was led by Choi Ye-seul with 19 points and 10 rebounds, Song Yoon-ha with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Jung Hyun with 12 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. South Korea will play their second game of the tournament on Friday against Australia. They will wrap up the group stage against Malaysia on Saturday.
A total of eight countries participated in the tournament. The top four teams will qualify for the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2025.
