Bahrain’s ‘mastermind’ coach: “Technically dominant South Korea is at the top of the game”

Bahrain head coach Juan Antonio Fitch has accepted the loss to South Korea.

Bahrain lost 1-3 against Klinsmann’s Korea at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup 2023 Group E on Friday at 8:30 p.m. (ET) at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

Bahrain conceded an early goal through Hwang In-Beom (Zvezda) in the 38th minute of the match, but Abdullah Al-Hashashi 안전카지노사이트 equalized for Korea six minutes into the second half.

However, they conceded back-to-back goals to Lee Kang-In (Paris Saint-Germain) and lost their first match of the tournament.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Coach Fitch said, “We played a good game, but we didn’t win. South Korea deserved the win because they were technically dominant,” he said, “They are at the top level. They adapted to the game better than we did,” he said, taking the loss in stride.

Despite the loss to South Korea, the team’s hopes of reaching the round of 16 have been boosted by winning their remaining matches.

“We still have a chance,” Fitch said. “We have to get a result against Malaysia next. We still have two games left,” said Fitch, looking to the positive future.

Bahrain will play their second group game against Kim Pang Gon’s Malaysia at the same stadium on Oct. 20.

They will then play their final group game against Jordan at the Khalifa International Stadium on the 25th.
