Tottenham goalkeeper Foster says Son Heung-min is the most technical player on the team.
English Tottenham fansite SpursWeb published a transcript of Foster’s interview with the club on Sunday (Aug. 27). Foster has made 148 appearances in the Premier League since making his Premier League debut for Southampton in the 2014-15 season. Last season, he made 14 Premier League appearances for Tottenham. During his eight seasons at Southampton, Foster also played head-to-head with Son Heung-min in the Premier League.
When asked who is the most technical player at Tottenham, Foster said, “It’s a difficult question to answer, but I would say Son Heung-min. He’s got great feet, he’s fast, he’s technical. He’s a very good player,” Foster said.
Led by Son, Tottenham has been a dominant force in the Premier League this season with a record of 7 wins, 2 draws, and 23 points. Recently, the Spurs frontline striker has scored seven goals in the Premier League, which ranks him second in the league.
Son Heung-min was named the Premier League’s Player of the Month last month, earning his fourth career Player of the Month award. He was recognized for his recent performances, including scoring the game-winning goal against Fulham in the ninth round of the 2023-24 Premier League on March 23, which earned him a place in the Premier League’s Best 11 for Round 9.
