Lee Jung-hoo of Kiwoom in professional baseball eventually underwent surgery for a left ankle injury.
The club said Lee Jung-hoo was diagnosed with damage to the Shinjeon area, a membrane surrounding the tendon of his left ankle, after a thorough examination today (24th).
He added that he plans to schedule suture surgery after an additional examination tomorrow (25th), and that the rehabilitation period after surgery will take about three months.
