Yang Min-hyeok (Gangwon), who will wear the Tottenham uniform of the English Premier League (EPL) starting next January, has instantly emerged as the most popular star in the K-League.
At the K-League team fan signing event held at the K-League x Sanrio Characters pop-up store in Lotte World Mall in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 29th, the fans’ attention was clearly focused on Gangwon FC’s Yang Min-hyeok.
When Yang Min-hyeok, wearing the navy team K-League uniform created in collaboration between K-League and Sanrio Characters, appeared at the autograph signing event along with Lee Seung-woo (Suwon FC), Choi Jun (Seoul), and Jeong Ho-yeon (Gwangju), hundreds of fans cheered him on.
Yang Min-hyeok received the most support in the K-League ‘Couple Young-ple’ category, which is selected through fan voting, and will play in 커뮤니티 the first match of the 2024 Coupang Play Series against Tottenham Hotspur at Seoul World Cup Stadium at 8 PM on the 31st as a representative young player of the K-League.
The loudest cheers erupted when Yang Min-hyeok, whose transfer to Tottenham was officially announced the day before, took the microphone.
