Naz Reed of the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA) received the Sixth Man Award for the 2023-2024 season.
The NBA Secretariat announced on the 25th (Korean time), “Reed, who received a total of 352 points, including 45 first-place votes, was selected as the winner of the Sixth Man Award as a result of the voters’ vote.”
Reed played in 81 regular league games this season, 67 of them as a substitute, scoring 13.5 points and 5.2 rebounds.
The competition for the Sixth Man Award this season was very fierce.
The Sacramento Kings’ Malik Monk followed closely behind, scoring a total of 342 points, including 43 first-place votes.
Monk appeared in all 72 games as a substitute, scoring 15.4 points and 5.1 assists.
Reed became the third player in his career to receive the Sixth Man Award despite not being selected in the NBA draft.
Reed is the first undrafted player to be named the Sixth Man Award winner in 25 years since John Stokes in 1997 and Darryl Armstrong in 1999. 고스톱
