Hyang Im (Volvik), Ji-Eun Shin (Q CELLS) and Sunwoo Bae are tied for 10th place after the first day of the Toto Japan Classic ($2 million purse) on the United States Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour.

The tournament, co-hosted by the LPGA Tour and Japan Ladies Professional Golf (JLPGA) Tour, featured 43 players from the LPGA and 35 from the JLPGA Tour.
